We decided to sail around the south end of South Molle and back north and west to Airlie, but the wind got weaker and weaker as we went along, and it completely died down at noon… It didn’t look like a good idea to go in a big circle, good thing was we were in no hurry…

The wind only picked up after the sun went down. It was dark when we dropped anchor and needed to use a searchlight to check for obstacles ahead.

Stir fry pork with eggplant for dinner.

Moved again after dinner, the previous anchor site was too shallow and the lowest tide may make the boat touch ground tonight.

I woke up this morning and found a seabird standing at the bow staring at me from the hatch window… I knew it was going to be a good day.

Began to work on the illustrations for Yrvind’s story. While doing some research, I found a great picture that he took: the Italian girl was not only a good fisherwoman, but also a good cook!

Also found a Polish illustrator on 50wattes.com, Daniel Mroz. love his style of drawing.

Making Lao Gan Ma pumpkin and carrot stir fry for dinner, yum!

Woke up at 8am, had scrambled egg and avocado on toast, then went for a walk on the island, the beach was full of broken coral that clattered when stepping on them.

It was only 10:30am when we got back to the boat, just in time for morning tea. We had 3 jams on toast(blueberry, apricot and black berry)

Leftover stock, roast chicken and lemongrass pork were used to cook a luxurious noodle soup for lunch.

Finally finished translating Yrvind’s article in the afternoon, so I could start the illustrations.

For dinner I made tomato pork, very appetising.

A perfect, smooth, flowing day I recorded it like doing bookkeeping . Days like this pass through my finger tips too quickly, and then it’s almost weekend again….
