The ad sent out last night worked well, we got several inquiries today. One guy from Perth didn’t even look at the boat, he just wanted to put down a deposit because he had sailed a 29 foot Cal across the Pacific before, he liked it, he knew it, and he had a soft spot for it, also now that his kids have left home and he wants to start sailing again, Cal is his first choice. This worried J, who kept asking if he wanted to know more about the boat so he took lots of pictures of the boat’s flaws so he wouldn’t be disappointed if he bought it and saw the real thing.

In the afternoon, a lady came to see the boat. The location of her pickup was not made clear, which caused J 6 dinghy trips. I thought it would save him a lot of trouble if someone would buy it right away.

In the evening, we went to a Japanese restaurant for the curry cheese chicken fillet rice that I was craving for a while, but the curry sauce this time was much less than last time so I won’t come again.

A guy from Brisbane called later, he said he had seen Dagmar in a book and sent us a picture, it turned out to be J sailing in French Polynesia 10 years ago.
